Pamplona is famous for the running of the bulls during the San Fermin Festival held July 6 to 14 every year.

It is listed as a city with one of the highest standards of living and quality of life in Spain.

I decided to skip hiking today, so I could explore the city and have my Michelin Restaurant meal.

Sightseeing in the morning:

Plaza del Castillo (locals refer it as their living room). The 8th Producto Local Week was held between October 9th and 15th @ the Plaza featuring 45 producers.

Palacio de Navarra (a Government Building nowadays)

Paseo de Sarasate

Ayuntamiento de Pamplona (City Hall)

Iglesia de San Saturnino (13th Century Sanctuary featuring 2 towers, one with an iconic rooster-shaped weather vane).

Archivo Real y General De Navarra (Royal and General Archive of Navarra)

Portal de Francia, the gateway used since medieval times by pilgrims arriving in Pamplona on the way of St James.

Mirador del Caballo. Walled area within the old town, with excellent views,

Catedral de Pamplona. 15th Century Gothic Style.

Late lunch at Michelin Restaurant

5pm Bus to Puente La Reina.

Then a 15 minutes walk to the Auberge.

Had an one-hour massage.

Skipped dinner. Too full.
