Easy walking

Good weather all day tilll late.

Late lunch @ Bar.

Met 3 women from Ireland. They would take bus from Mansilla de las Mulas to Leon as suggested by the Camino Francés Bible, John Brierley's definitive Camino Santiago book.

Took a wrong turn 2kms from destination. 1km added. Big price to pay as the last 30 minutes pouring rain, all wet.

Accommodation booking got mixed up. Was supposed to stay at the beautiful Albergueria del Camino right in the centre in Mansilla de las Mulas. They thought I was to arrive October 29. Place closed today. The owner booked me to stay @ Pensión Blanca, 800 metres away from everything. Much cheaper though. Indeed, cheapest by far relative to all other stays. 30 Euros. No hairdryer. Small bathroom. Comfortable bed and heater working.
